From my world

my wife was in the hospital the past week . She was diagnosed in the emergency room with acute pancretitis. She has had it since the first of the month and because anything she ate caused pain, she stopped eating… and lost 16 pounds. The concentration camp diet works.

Anyway, her doctor went in via the esophagus and down into the small intestine and cut the sphinter of oddi and put a stent into the pancreatic duct. Seems she was leaking fluid from that sucker and it was digesting her…

I had been taking care fo the dogs, man they crap a lot. I named the one who crop dusts… that is she walks around when she craps and leaves piles here and there… renamed her Crash Landing… she can’t seem to hit the runway (papers). Louie has been helping lately. I noticed fewer Crash landing turds… Louie is probably the only one who really understands the old phrase “this tastes like shi*.” man, then he wants to lick your face. gross.

Rose is home now and the weather is beautiful. I have three reports due on Monday, the weather data to work on for my historical data stuff.

Sorry to hear she has been unwell and in discomfort. Hopefully the problem is solved now and she is on the mend. Take care!!

Hey those students need your care and guidance and the wise cracks too

hope she gets well soon
talking of nice weather , I hear the UK is getting nice Indian summer at the moment too

I wonder what kind of summer the Indians get?

this year I have 9th and 10th graders with attitudes, not the good kind

We’re getting an Indian autumn…too late for summer. Went to watch the football (we won 5-0  ) in shirt and shorts yesterday and slept with the windows wide open last night. Cooler, grey and damp today though.
