I’m new to this, I’m sure there is just something I don’t have ticked somewhere.
My noaa zone file is being downloaded correcty and it’s contents embedded into the wx.html file before it is uplaoded.
However, for some reason, updated forecast text is not being updated/embedded into the html file unless I click on the forecast icon on the main display to bring up the forecast there first. After I do this, the next web update will update the forecast text in the html. Then the forecast text on my web page will remain static until I click on the forecast icon in main display again. Odd.
So, what am I missing here?
Here’s a bit more info…
Timestamp in current forecast is 354 PM EST WED DEC 30 for ncz004.txt, this was downloaded @ 4:00 (forecast downloads every hour).
I checked my webpage at 4:25 (it is updated/uploaded every 5 minutes) and it still is showing the forecast from this morning. The new file/web page has been generated since the noaa new forecast but that info is not making it into the wx.html page. It still has the forecast from this morning (924 AM EST WED DEC 30).
So… now I’m going to click on the forecast icon on the WD display. It will load the most recent forecast - then on the next web upload, the new forcast will make it into the wx.html page… going to go do this now.
Viola - now the new forecast has been imbedded in wx.html before it got uploaded (timestamp is now 354 PM EST WED DEC 30 on web)
Can someone please tell me how this behavior can be corrected so that I don’t have to click on WD display forecast just to get the custom wx.html to have the lastest? I’ve been over all the settings everywhere and can’t see where the problem might be. I’m sure it isn’t a bug but a PEBCAK error (Problem Exists Between Chair And Keyboard :D).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Resovled.
The five day forecast graphic needs to be set to be generated, even though I’m not using it. See attachement.
