Not sure if anyone else is having this problem… but I ever since I got the newest version today I have been flat lining ever hour for about 3 hours and then it will fix itself on its own, then it will just happen again and again. Restarted the program, restarted the computer. Not sure if its the newest version that is causing this. Maybe Brian can look into it? See attached!
I’ve been seeing the same. But I’m running the Davis VP2 with IP datalogger. It’s been a bear to troubleshoot.
do you have any other weather programs running that is also linked to the consul?
Not sure if this pervious issue is related: http://discourse.weather-watch.com/t/49555.
Flat lines for all the sensors at once suggests issues with transmissions to the console may not be the problem, however, it is still worthwhile checking to see if intermittant loss of signal is occurring. Introduction of other transmission equipment by neighbours (i.e. wireless modems, two way radio’s, etc) has resulted in similar complete flatline periods for me in the past.
I am using the latest WD version (10.37Q Build 35) with a WMR200 have have not had flat line issues so far.
No other weather software but there is webcam software and the dreaded Kaspersky. But I’ve been running the same way since Oct 2010. I haven’t noticed this problem until a couple of weeks ago. I think my problem was/is in my router config. I tried everything before checking my router settings. And it appears that my router was confused only sometimes.
I have a question posted for the same thing.
Have just installed a new vantage pro station with IP logger, and got the flat line as well.
Found out that the IP address of the logger had changed, fixed it by assigning a permanent address.
Also had to remove an ipcam situated rigth next to the logger to get the data comming.
