Hello again, it rained yesterday and when I checked the app, all I saw for the Leaf Wetness Was - - - -. Same with soil moisture. Its the Davis vp2
I have a leaf wetness sensor and soil moisture that is working OK in the app
but for that data to get to the app, it needs to be working and showing OK In WD itself (i.e make sure you have that setup correctly in the weather station type setup)
try using an online clientraw parser to make sure that data is OK in the clientraw file used by the app

mine shows OK

The leaf value looks exactly like yours?
The soil moisture value is very dry, the placement is poor and it being very sandy here does not help
currently my leaf wetness is zero (i.e dry)
and so that is what shows in the app
in the app my soil moisture shows the same as in raw data via the clientraw
Yes, mine is dry now as its not raining today 
the tag %VPsoilmoisture% works as it should on the WD main screen (200)
the tag %VPLeaf% works as it should on the WD main screen currently 0 as its not raining
Give me a few minutes and i will report back after ive wet it to see what it shows in the parser

are you using a recent version of the App then?

I see that in the clientraw.txt file you sent me the raw soil moisture value is 200
so that is the max reading…which results in the ---- being displayed
when its less than that, then a value will show
but for me, using your clientraw.txt file, the leaf wetness value does show OK in the app (i.e 0.0)
Thanks for the explanation, I wonder why it won’t show for me then, same app and same clientraw, it’s the same on WiFi and mobile data, I am going to uninstall and reinstall and see what that does.
Uninstall Didn’t achieve anything, when it’s dry it shows 0, when wet it shows ------- baffling.
that is bit more information…which you had not provided before
when you say wet…how wet…(i.e what is the actual reading that makes it show —)
