My consol shows rain 25.9mm for today, but wd shows 43.4mm.
i use a ws2310
i apreciate if someone can help

i think its not the same probl.
tha fact is the rain quantity mentioned in WD is bigger than my consol
consol 25.9mm wd 43.9mm (note that these rain falled today)
no rain before.
in your opinion coud it be caused by the settings of my rain offset as below
1.0 modified rain gauge new tip (mm).
should i set it 0.5 since my rain gauge (lacrosse) have a minimum 0.5mm rain reading
Is your station providing data direct to WD or do you use heavyweather or similar program? From what I can find on the internet about your station it appears that each tip should measure 0.1mm. As a test you could manually tip the bucket one time and see what is recorded in WD.

My WS is directly connected to WD
the rain tip of the ws2310 is 0.5mm
now in the offset initial rain option i set my daily / monthly /yearly rain (now its the same as my WS)
after that, while ago a small rain fall (1mm) WD shows the same as my console
i have to wait for more rain to check if its ok.
any suggestion ???

At this point I think your best bet is to see what happens the next time you get some rainfall…

i set up all rain data (month year…) ,
i still have a small diff between my Ws and WD
today rain as per my WS 38.8mm but WD mention 44.1
i have a diff about 12% minus so i setup my offset rain to -12% and i will rain tonight rain
is it right what i’m doing with my offset ?

Something must be wrong if WD is not agreeing with your station console. I assume you are using a tipping rain bucket, and that each tip = 0.5mm so as long as WD is setup to record exactly .5mm of rain for each tip then it should always agree with the wx station console. Have you verified that WD is actually set to record .5mm of rain per tip?

3- Shoul click " i am using a modified rain gauge" ?
4- plz be noted that WD is mention a higher rain rom my consol (today WD 44mm vs consol 38.8mm)
5- i am using the version 2 consol ws2310
6- My sensor is used wireless (modified to 6 sec update interval)

I would try setting it to 0.518mm per tip and see what happens…

Yes, zero offset.
the modified rain setting should be set to 1.0
unless you have actually changed the size of the rain gauge funnel
