Now I’m running WD Linux as a client of the windows server, and want to go to linux step by step until I turn off my windows computer (server) :D: . To look back I need the log files, right? I just want to know which files I should copy, or is there a export import feature? :?
and wdisplay.ini from c:\windows or c:\winnt
to the wdisplay folder on the linux pc, to keep your settings and info like windrun, all time records, etc
you should be able to set the background graph colour in the colour setup
or delete sections in the wdisplay.ini file relating to colour settings (when wd is not running)
ohh sry.
WD linux works fine but I dont understand why not all settings are like on the wd MSwindows! And although I copied the log files I cant see data in history…
the port was done along time ago now
so differences have arisen.,…
log files:
you should be able to view that data via view, averages/extreme
and same for the datafiles:
you should be able to view that via view, graph history
check the file extensions are stil OK
and also linux is very case sensitive for file names too
i am just about to leave for 4 days away
but if you zip and email me the log file
but does that file not found occur straight away when you go to the view, averages/extreme?
if so, check the logfiles location is correct
and heck log file recording is enabled
and check you have a current log file for this month (i.e 92004lg.txt
lets say you select September 2004 on the calender on that page. Sometimes you must select September or 2004 again, even though the calender already says that to get it to load
