Mark to correct the rain amount on the same day it happens is easy just go to Control Panel - Offsets and Initial Rainfall and in the last field “Adjust all rainfall totals by this amount only” enter -0.01 to remove 0.01 rain or 0.01 to add press Set then Yes.

for other days, i.e to adjust the data in say the noaa report, etc
i have added a FAQ
I take the readings fron the collector at 7am. Where can I find the Faq Windy.
Mark
Under the Reference Information :- WD FAQ Forum - all threads in there are FAQ help and how to do files…

Look for "How to edit the rain total for a day " and others…

HTH
Did as the FAQ said. Now when I load the 10th data it is almost blank? And the rain details on the web page have not changed. I restarted WD in hopes that was it. No luck.
Mark
Seems not only the 10th is missing. The whole month is missing.
Mark
I knew better than to mess with WD. It has been working for several months with no problems

if your logfiles are OK then go action, convert wd logfiles to data files
and make sure 82007lg.txt is selected and then click on convert
I am not able to ducplicate the problems people have
did you follow the new FAQ I added on this?
Thank you - Thank you - Thank you
Yes I followed the new FAQ. The correct data file loaded OK but when I looked at climate reports they were empty for Sept. And I did not want to lose the data by pressing any buttons.
Backup backup backup
Thankyou
Mark
and so did converting the logfile to data file get the data back?
