Hello everyone
I’m using an Oregon Scientific WMR-100 weather station and have just added a Hobby Boards 1-wire solar sensor. I’ve got as far as getting mV and % reading displayed on Current Readings under Solar Sensor Setup in WD, but can’t seem to find how to persuade WD to stop estimating solar from the WMR-100 UV sensor, and graph the 1-wire solar on the main display. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks for your help.
Adam
Just to clarify: before installing the 1-wire solar sensor, the estimated solar W/m2 was displayed next to the reading from the UV sensor on the main WD screen and graphed on the temperature/humidity graph. Since installing the 1-wire solar, although the new sensor readings appear under Current Readings on Solar Sensor Setup, I’m still getting the estimated W/m2 readings (calculated from the UV sensor) displayed and graphed on the main WD screen. The 1-wire solar DOES get graphed on the Extra Sensor Realtime graph however. Also, I suspect that sunshine hours are still being sourced from the UV sensor estimated solar W/m2 (not very helpful since the UV reading drops to zero for a few hours at each end of the day, regardless of sunshine) but I can’t be sure of this as the weather has been a bit variable up here in the mountains of late, and now I’m in the UK for the weekend.
Any help with this would be gratefully received. It would be good to finally get some representative sunshine hour figures, as well as a nice graph of solar W/m2 on the main screen.
Regards,
Adam
