The Delta Aquariids aren’t the most exciting of meteor showers. The meteors come from Comet 9P Machholz which was discovered in 1986. There are a steady stream of meteors over a number of days but at quite a low hourly rate. They can be seen from the Southern Hemisphere, with their fast, faint meteors radiating from the constellation Aquarius.
The Delta Aquariids shower runs from 12th July until 23rd August. The peak of the shower taking place on 30th July in 2025.
