Davis VP Pr2 and Dallas 1-wire

Is it possible to use the Davis VP2 and Dallas 1-wire at the same time? I have only one sensor on the 1-wire, a leaf wetness sensor, that I would like to record in addition to the VP2. Both are serial port devices (COM3 and COM4). Can/how can I make this work?

yes, thats possible
you set the com port to use for the 1 wire adaptor in the com port setup, and tick the appropriate settings

The Com port setup only allows me to choose one com port, but I need to tell it about both the 1-wire and the Davis. How do I do that?

if you tick to use a 1 wire as well, then the com port setting there becomes active and you set that
and then you can go to the 1 wire setup screen

Take a look at the excellent 1-wire FAQ item http://discourse.weather-watch.com/t/9671. It talks about adding a lightning detector specifically but it does show the screens etc.
