Hi team,
I got a weird problem, I fear the worse, but I figured I ask.
My Indoor Davis Vantage Pro2 console receiver is playing up.

When I want to set the date the year keeps counting down, same with time. It just cycles through the numbers.
This happens with any of the settings, the “system” just cycles through them. Kinda weird.

The buttons are also randomly un-responsive.
Has anybody had this before? Could it just be the buttons or is it software related?

I have updated the firmware to the latest version hoping that would fix it… no luck firmware is updated but the console is still “possessed by a daemon”.

Does it behave the same if not connected to mains and just use battery power? Long shot but just thinking out loud…sounds like a hardware issue inside the console…loose wire or harness from the keypad to the main board possible.

Got it fixed, removed everything.
Cleaned the boards and the up-down-left-and_other_left button unit, there was some corrosion on it…

All working now.
