Davis solar

I am noticing that the graphs ( realtime and historical) are now showing sun at night time. I went through and looked for any thing that might be ticked such as Labjack ( I have none) and everything looks fine. The solar values and uv values are correct, but the time scale isn’t.

the auto scale grpahs time scasle assumes you have continuous data, which you dont, judging by the time hour lines on the main graph

run wd as long as you can without stops or have it crash, and see if it settles down

i have a solar with my VP here now, and graph time and solar plot is running perfect

ok, I will give that a shot as well. Someday I really need to think about a wireless setup and a second computer to leave on all the time. I use this one for just about everything, including the weather running in the background.

The data, is still tops;

I change from 2510 to a VP Plus 30 hours ago. The solar graphs and the data extraction work very well. I have used 5 min and now 15 min. As long as the pad is set to equal the logging interval, everything stays in place. I have started and stopped several times. Check the site.

Only issues I have noticed so far is the extremes did not get reset last night, I was using data extraction at 5 min intervals. Also the ET drops to 0 on the solar graph during the extraction times.

Between hour 21 and 23 it is short because I had the pad at 1. Could this be why yours is bunching up aardvark?

actualy there was a bug with the position of the solar data plotting in relation to the time and compared to the other parameters
i have fixed that now in 10.15q
(i can confirm that, as I acutaly had that problem myself and didnt realise!)

ET from extracted data:I have not got that working yet (could not find it in the data stream)
i will have another hunt for it, now that i have ET from the VP

:mrgreen:

So I wasn’t going completely nuts, only partial…

nope
but at my mums place, with a VP, it was OK…go figure huh
anways, so far so good for me
