sorry, i just got my Davis pro, but i see that wd try to grab the data, the lights are green, but nothing happen.
weather link use the expressusb driver, but i can’t find in the forum or FAQ here,how to change it.
any hint would be appreciated.

Look on th CD for program to change logger back to serial CP210 from USB express. If you run Weatherlink always setup as serial even if you have USB. You also can download from Davis web site.

i downloaded this driver http://www.davisnet.com/support/weather/software_driver.asp CP210X USB to Serial Converter
placed it in the weatherlink folder and started from there.
then i been able to make it happen 
there is a FAQ on how to unset the USBExpress mode 
yes i have seen your posting about it.
but i search and search and did not find it #-o

I just tested adding usbexpress to the search and the FAQ was shown first item
i did not believe the topic from 2008 is actual http://discourse.weather-watch.com/t/31666
as i download the file and execute it from the download folder and not inside the WD folder. #-o
so, i got a error first.

the davis program needs to be executed from where weatherlink is installed
as it needs the DLL files associated with weather link and not WD

HELP !!! HELP!!! HELP!!!
I just installed my Vantage vue but my weatherlink 5.7.1 would not run. It says “The station model number was not recognized.The program expects a different station model”.It was working well with my Davis vantage pro2.If I run the Vantage vue with virtual Weather display it work OK.What can be wrong ??.

You most likely need to update to the current version of weatherlink.
