Data not getting from APRS to MADIS

For the past two weeks (beginning March 29) my APRS RF packets have not been making it to the MADIS. Call sign KC3BHK-2, CWOP identifier AU875. Packets are making it to FindU. I discovered this problem using Windalert, which links the station data to forecasts. When I contacted support for windalert they replied
“ I pulled up your station on WindAlert, and it is marked down. Since you broadcast your data through MADIS, it is likely there is a connection issue between your weather station and MADIS since we pull the data directly from their server. Can you check if this is the issue? Our last reported observation is from 3/29 at 10:46 in the morning.”

I’ve sent email to phil gladstone about the issue, but no response. A few weeks ago my model airplane club noticed that the display we used to use for the weather info on findu stopped working as well, apparently due to a security certificate being expired. Are the two issues related?

Can anyone give me any insight on whats changed since March that’s causing this issue.

Thanks
Brad

I ain’t no expert. The problem with “sharing” data is that it’s impossible to track down who broke the chain. I gave up on CWOP years ago as they never respond.

I did some more research today, and it looks like this problem is affecting all APRS weather stations that are RF only to an Igate. Cannot find a single APRS RF only weather station on the app I typically use. All the stations I checked are sending data to APRS, and showup on FindU.

I don’t even know who to suggest you contact for help.

Thank you for the weather.gov link! I never would have found that on my own. This seems to indicate the broken path is somewhere within the NWS data structure. I will pass this information on to the support team and see what they make of it.

It appears your data is getting uploaded but they sure don’t like how it compares to anybody.
