I seem to have managed to corrupt my data bank. I was trying to correct my daily rain total to make up for the 10 minutes of power failure. I had tried to correct in the action / view and correct the log file/rain totals. Never got that to work (and apparently screwed everything up) I was able to do the adjustment that I wanted in setup/control panels/barometer offset other offsets rainfall setup. But this is how my day 4 data came out

ah, yes, that has happened to a few others…but i have not been able to duplicate
but you can fix:
action, convert wd log files to graphs
but tick, convert graph files to logfiles, and select month92004.inf
then click on convert
Cool!. . . I did that, guess I’ll have to wait till tomorrow to see how it worked. Will it correct my daily report

I’ve gotten over the program crashing part. It’s working great, I’m trying to find out which process was bring it down, I’ll let you know when I find it.

yes, the correcting of the logfile will correct the noaa report, but to reset the av/ext report, go view, averages/extreme, then scroll down, and see the reset/recreate the averages/extreme web page
(and then you can re upload it)
Data is still weird. The NOAA report cleaned up but it is still showing an entry for the 31st which is still a few weeks away. (is this new future forecast technology? :D) (actually, 30 days have September, April, June and November. . . sooooo ) but the daily report is still whacked. It starts with the 31st and then it has 2 entrys for each day, the 2nd entry being the actual data. I’m in Phoenix Arizona, in the 10 years I’ve been here I’ve never seen a temp close to the Ave Temp of 16 f. And while in a couple months the Ave humidity might be right, right now we’re in the monsoon season so that’s a little low along with also most everything else. You can go to the links of the previous post to see the reports in questions. Also the beta 10.16u file is corrupt, I’ve updated to t. What is plan B to correct the data?

ok, yes, that data has appeard after the conversion of the graph data
so delete that day , which will be at the begining, from the start of the logfile, 92004lg.txt
also, yes, i introduced a bd bug re the averages, so please download 10.16u to fix that (download is OK now (full version)

Hummm still no joy. There were 2 10.16Us I downloaded the beta version. We’ve gotten rid of the day 31 (I deleted the day in the data base) When I do the reset it goes to 19% and then gives the “it’s all done now upload to your website” dialog. Did it twice and both time it finished at 19%. The averages are better but there are still double days for 2, 3 4 & 5 and in both the daily report and the daily NOAA report it is showing .24 inches of rain on day 3 when it should be .79 inches. (we get such little rain every tenth of an inch counts :D) In all other areas it is showing correctly. I think the actually measurement was .642 or something like that which I corrected to .79 which was the reading on the WS 2310 that was still recording when the power went off for 10 minutes in a heavy downpour. Actually it was screwing around with trying to do the correction that got me in the trouble that I’m in now.
