When starting a new month the correct dailynoaareports.htm is produced every day when there is no rain. When rain occur’s it drops all the previous daily data and only shows the day with rain.
Example: October of 2021 started out with no rain for the first 6 days, with the values all showing 00.00 on days 1 to 6 which is perfectly correct.
On the 7th of October we received .06 of rain. The dailynoaareports blanked out all the data from October 1 thru October 6, and just showed the one entry on October 7th, thus dropping the days 1 to 6. I’ve never seen this happen in the 14 years of running weather display.
Any Idea how to deal with this?
check if your 102021lg.txt has any missing data around midnight if they look ok try converting logfile to graghs and see if the info reappears in the averages and extremes under the view tab
Thanks so much for the suggestion!
The 102021lg.txt only has data from 10/18 /21 to 10/27/21, everything before that data is missing.
So it looks like the problem is that the log file not properly propagating for some reason.
do you have a csv file created in your logfile folder called 102021lgcsv.csv if you have does it have missing data as the 102021lg.txt file
what OS are you using and build of WD, plus weather station type
did you have an issue with the computer on the 18th
Thanks again for your help!
