CWOP/APRS Data Send setup

After being very frustrated with the unstable Virtual VP to WeatherLink connection, Virtual VP to Weather Display IS stable, I have decided to move my CWOP and WU upload functions to WD.

I’m unsure about a couple check boxes on the CWOP/APRS Data Send setup screen. My station is a Davis VP1 Plus, should I check “Use gust last 10 minutes”? And either of the two check boxes under "VP altimeter setup?

Also, I originally setup the APRS data send times to upload every 10 minutes with an offset of 9. But I changed my mind and want to upload every 5 minutes. I clicked “Upload every 5 minutes” and the upload times changed appropriately, then clicked “OK” to close the setup window. But when I check my findu page at Raw Data: CW4869 I see I’m still uploading every 10 minutes.

I don’t have the last 10 minutes gust checked. I have the 2 under the VP altimeter setup checked. Not sure about the upload issue. I have mine offset to upload every 10 minutes at 04,14,24 etc…

CWOP only wants an upload each 10 minutes, it is sent at the minute equal to the last digit of your ID, so for CW4869 that will be 09, 19, 29, 39 etc.

Thanks Niko, but that requested restriction is no longer in use. 5 minutes is OK now. See No 7 at http://www.wxqa.com/servers2use.html.

I also posted this question on the wxqc list, maybe someone there will mention the 10 gust thing.
