Custom web page creation and upload out of sync

I have a custom web page being generated and uploaded every 5 minutes, however, it is uploading the page from the previous 5 minute update (that is, it must be doing the upload, and THEN generating the updated page - which means the new page doesn’t get uploaded for another 5 minutes).

Is there a way to fix this ?

The “Time to create the file” window for the custom web page says in red at the top “Advanced settings for creation/upload of:—” but then doesn’t have a file name. When I select the “show file upload” button, there are no file names mentioned anywhere, and no file upload times.

Should I see “wx.html” as the filename for which the creation & upload times apply ?

Yes you should see the file name in the Top when working with that area…

Which file is it wxlocal.html or one of the numbered custom files such as wxlocal6.html? Which file number in Internet File Creation settings, File #22, 23, 24, 25 or #26?

If File #26 you select the specific file you want to work with and then press Set.

Sorry Bob, I don’t understand.

What happens if I have my custom web page displayed (ie ready to edit etc) and click on the little clock (“Set times to create and upload the web pages”) and the file name is not listed at the top ? Does this indicate a problem, or is it something I haven’t done ? (If I select the “Select files to FTP to the web site”) button, it lists “wx.html”. I have wx.html and wx2.html being created every 5 minutes - I don’t need wx2.html)

Is the “Load Other Times” box for changing the file create and upload times of other wxlocalXX files ? If so, how is it used ? I select file# 2, then select “Show file create times”, and the file# jumps back to 1.

I don’t understand what the “Customise Internet File Creation and Setup” pages do. At the moment, I have the big red “Override” button switched-off.

When you turn ON Internet File Creation and Upload then it will control all uploads and you have to make sure that anything you are already uploading is set in those settings…

I believe that it is possible to use regular settings for a few custom files however I started day one with WD using the Internet File Creation and Upload and really can’t help with using setting other then those.
