Could an offset be added to snow sensor readings?

I am in the same case as MickeyM,
Could an offset be added to snow sensor readings? The ultrasonic probe that I use, SensComp, will never be read a truth 0.00 volt reading. Low that it will be never to go is .02 - .03 volts. It results %dallassnowvolts 10pl 2 from it from .2% - .3 of snow when makes some snow depth is 0. I suppose that an adjustable user option would be the best for a point of epessor 0 cm.
