I downloaded the Weather Display database program zip file so that I could take a gander at the documentation but found that the file readmedatabase.txt is not in the zip file.
Perhaps, it appears when you install using the setup module, but I don’t want to actually install the package here at work just to see the file.
Any have a URL or the file itself that I can look at?
This is what the file has in it:
(it refers to the MS access database one, and not the Mysql databse one)
You will need to go to (Windows) start, control panel and the ODBC (under Admim tools on some windows verisons) and then highlight Microsoft Access data base , or add that if it is not listed, then click on configure,then make sure the name is called MS Access Database (case sensitive) (type this in if blank), and wd for the desrciption, then click on select and choose the wd.mdb file (i.e in c:\wdisplay), then click on OK.
Then you can run the wddatabaseprogram.exe and then in version 9.86e of Weather Display or later, see under setup, general and misc, set enable data saving for separate wd database to true.
The table name is called Table1, if you need to know that.

ah, thats included with the install of wd
i.e just go to setup, control panel,then setup MYSQL icon
then create the table needed (copy /paste the table structure) in your mysql data base
and go from there
