Yes, it is normal that WD does not show up in remove programs, there is a recent thread on here about that somewhere.
I’m sure the port conflict can be resolved but in case you missed it I thought you might like to know that there is now a much better solution than the daily dump which is an inexpensive program, VirtualVP, that allows WL and WD to seamlessly share the VP.
