Concerning WD10.19-> FTP3.3 hangs

Dear,

since I use a version of WD which uses FTP3.3, the rawdata upload which I need for WDL3.02
hangs; when opening the command screen of FTP, it messages: error to connect, resseting several times
but without succes. manual stop and start doesn’t solve the problem, neither does manual But when I save&exit WD and restart It, instantly everything works out fine!
Unfortunatemy, I’m not always beside my WD, altough I tought there was an option to restart WD automatically every xx time … ?

I know that the provider itself isn’t easy to log in to, but before, I had never problems …

you mean the clientrawrealtimeftp.exe version 3.3?

the only thing changed is the addition to upload the clientrawdaily.txt
from the previous version
not sure why that would have an affect

in the rela time ftp setup, try : tick restart instead of relogin, at the set interval

Indeed that is what I meant, it was strange because with version 3.2 it didn’t hang.
I changed relogin to restart (tick on)
Since it took always a few days before hanging, It may take a while until I can report
if this works or not

On the other had, in the beginning I restarted every day to update wdl and to swap each time between
my PCs. This could be the reason why this eror couldn’t be triggered before, it could thus be related
to the upload ftp website and not to an upgrade of the ftp 3.2=>3.3
which seems -after your explanation- indeed more obvious …

UPDATE:
It seems to works now
restart instead of relogin does the trick!

note: the same topic was launched by somewone using ftp3.2
under WDL
