Clientrawextra keeps rolling an old forecast

Hi

The last few days clientrawextra.txt keeps getting the same wrong forecast
i deleted but still the new one has the same wrong forecast
Any ideas

clientrawextra forecast is a symptom of the forecast not being acquired correctly elsewhere in WD. Check Control Panel ->FTP/Internet setup-> NOAA Forecast download. I saw something where they changed some zone codes recently.

Thanks for the reply. I dont use NOAA forecast download at all.
Should be somewhere else
i have another station to another location and i am getting the same wrong forecast

A link to your site and a clue about where the forecast is supposed to come from would be of assistance to provide some help.

what type of weather station do you have?
Forecast at the top looks like a forecast from your weather station or WD

davis vantage pro plus
and i use virtual IP , WD and weatherlink

I know nothing about Davis kit, but:

  1. Clientrawextra.txt #531 is supposed to be “Davis VP forecast text”, according to clientrawdescription.txt;
  2. Ken’s parser says it is “Weather Display (or Davis) Forecast”; and
  3. Wim’s parser says it is " forecast weather display (or davis)".

So is your VP console showing the right forecast? Have you updated WD lately?

Might be worth exploring whether forecast is turned on in WD – I would have thought it was automagic if you selected Davis kit, but what do I know?
