you say the problem only has started to happen in the last 2 weeks?
the change to the utf-8 unicode format was made months ago now…hummm
Yup, my first post here was 2/12, so about two weeks. Never had a problem before. BTW, the Client Viewer caused the same problem. As soon as I shut it down the file was updated.

is this still a problem?
Brian, I haven’t been running the client side for a little over a week because it was stopping the clientraw. But I did start it about 3 hours ago and things are fine. I’ll let it run tonight and see what happens and let you know in the morning or you could check my site later and see if the AJAX is updating. I’m running 10.37c build 2.
Thanks for following up on this.

what i could do is create an option to create a copy of the clientraw.txt file…which you then point your client version (and viewer) to use
It made it through the night. That option would be great.

Dave, was doing some experimenting
to get solar from server in client version via the clientraw.txt file, make sure you have ticked indoor temp/extra data in the client/server setup in the ftp/internet setup
Thanks, Brian. I checked and I did/do have that setting. I’ve not had problems with the solar showing up it just didn’t advance. It would stay the same until the next time I closed and restarted the client. I haven’t upgraded for a while. I’ll update later today and see how it goes. I also haven’t had the clientraw lock up in some time.

do you mean the solar plot not changing, or?
yes, just the solar plot.
