Yup still missing…
Stuart
Yeah still no reply from Tom or Sam and no new Bohler Runs since 2023-03-13-18z should be 2023-03-14-12z.
Kind Regards,
Tony
Can confirm same here.
Stuart
I Did see reports of Georgia/Atlanta in a Freeze Warning and many Power Outages reported due to what they are saying is the last blast of winter.
May account for both no reply and outage…
Stuart
I’ve tried lighting up the BatSignal to see if Tom can see it.
Thanks Chris, greatly appreciated.
Hi all,
Not heard from Tom or Sam, however Bohler GFS Run 2023-03-14-18z is now available.
Kind Regards,
Tony
Seems to be running again as 15 -00z is there.
Stuart
No joy with any forecasts so far - data >24 hrs old warnings for 2-3 days.
Guy
I just ran Lite and it fetched 06Z for today, however I use McMahon data in WXSimate. It your WXSimate is failing to get Bohler data try switching to McMahon. If using Lite it will say Lite data is out of date.
Stuart
I had switched about a day ago and had the same error - then switched back. Maybe I will try that again if it persists.
Guy
Still throwing the error so changed data sources - will see what happens.
Guy
I just tested both lite and WXSimate and bohler data for 12Z is fine. So you have another issue causing this. There is NO issue with the data.
Stuart
Yeah note sure what is going on - both sources return the data > 24hrs old. May reboot PC and see if that helps.
Guy
Well if Bohler now works then switch back to that. Do you still get the FOUS error with Bohler data? If no FOUS error with Bohler that is strange as the Bohler and McMahon data is only for GFS. We do not use FOUS here in the UK.
Chris will have to take a look at the GFS error. All I can say is that I do not see any GFS errors with either McMahon or Bohler.
Stuart
Bohler did not show that error when I did a manual run. Will verify later with another run. I had been on Bohler for a while and switched just briefly to McMahon to see if that worked after these errors had been thrown for a few days. Back to Bohler now.
Guy
The error is generated by WxSimate and there aren’t any clues in it for me. If my data is working for most people (which I assume it is because there are usually a lot of reports when it’s dead) then I’m puzzled why it wouldn’t work for one person. Perhaps a locally corrupt or cache locked file, or a network routing issue to my server but not Sam’s?
