It sounds like the 18z data might be appearing later than usual.
My script starts to run at a time when the data is normally available. If it’s not available the run ends and a new run starts 15 minutes later. I think it’s 15 minutes but I’d need to check the scheduler to be sure.
So if the data is late being provided I will pick it up eventually but that may be later than people are setting their WxSim runs to download the data.

Yes not much we can do about that, I suppose I dislike running them too far past the hour as the forecast is not as good as what could have been. Plus I have sooooo many scripts and crons to modify when I make significant time changes. Time will tell how it all pans out.
Update : Note both Bohler and McMahon “2023-05-23-00z” Runs now available.
Not heard from Tom or Sam over the last few Days.

I just caught up on my emails and there was a notification of a data outage at about the time the 18z data would have become available. There’s another later email saying it had been investigated and fixed.
Edit: An email from the team that run the NWS data service.
Tom is usually very busy at this time of year - end of school year. He should become more accessible in a few weeks time. He’s also told me that Sam is very busy with a work project so that’s probably why he’s not responding to emails.
