Big problems with WD working with WeatherSnoop (Resolved)

Hi,
I’ve currently got WD build87 working with WSV2.06 working fine and a WMR100 weather station.
If I upgrade to WD build88 some parameters are not passed from WS to WD. Wind and windspeed seem ok but outdoor temperature doesn’t.

Also current new version of WS V2.07 doesn’t work at all with build87 or build88 of WD.
Looking at the localhost:8080 data stream there are fewer parameters being presented compared to V2.06, I wonder if WD is parsing the data incorrectly.
Can anyone else confirm my findings.

In summary I can only get WD build87 working correctly with WS V2.06.
I look forward to hearing comments.

What do the WS folks say about the data format discrepancy?

Just had confirmation that the output format of the data from WeatherSnoop has changed in version 2.07 the current new release!
That’s why it had broken the link with Weather Display.
Needs fixing one way or the other as this is the only way I can get data from my WMR100 when using Lion OS!

weathersnoop keep changing the data format
would be good if they could settle down on the changes

if you could .zip and email me the data.txt file created with the latest weather snoop version, , quickly, I will see if I can get it working, before I go on school camp…I have 1 hour spare…

also, I would think it would be a good idea to keep a working version of weathersnoop backup before upgrading weather snoop
(i.e worse comes to worse try and get hold of the last working with WD version of weather snoop)

I have an old copy of WS 1.6.7 if you need it…

I have V2.06 which is ok.

The two data files are attached.
There is a marked difference and WD obviously can’t parse it correctly since the changes.

back from school camp now…
try build 89 .zip update…works in testing here with the data file you sent me…

Hi Brian,
That has fixed it for using either the old style output in V2.06 WS or V2.07 the new style have also tried it with V2.08 test build and that is fine too.
