I’m running Windows 10 with build 152 dated 9th November 2024 and December 13th
and a Davis vp6153
I’m at 900’ above sea level
After running WD for about 20 years (wonderful software btw), and after a reboot, on Dec 10th, 2024, I noticed the barometer jumped up 1" from 30.47" to 31.47"
I checked the elevation setting in the Davis pro counsel and it was correct. So then I started searching here to find a solution, I found a topic on the “CWOP” settings suggesting setting the “Altimeter Barometer setup” checkmark “use this pressure for WD baro reading”
So I did that and it corrected back to the correct reading of 30.47
there’s also a setting in “Control Panel”
“units & Other Settings”
“Barometer Setup”
which should be unchecked but gets checked by default
BTW I’m running 2 different wd licences on 2 different computers and had the same thing happen a few days later on the new computer not using CWOP
Has anyone else, had this issue?
