Hi how do you back up the WD data, I have gone into control panel & clicked on data back up set the switch to on, then clicked back up now, then clicked OK, the page then closes is this right or should I click on arrow, also if I click on test zip fies now, in the compression details box it says zip error missing or empty zipfile ( L/ WD backup/ziptest zip ) also where will the backup be.

sounds like you need to set the back up directory location correctly
do that via manually running the back up program

Hi, yes I found it its is backing up the data already to my removable spare hard drive, I do not remember setting this up, but I must have done it, so all is well.
