Atom Advisory Feed Not Working In My County Right Now

Is anyone else having problems?

My forecast page shows a hazardous weather outlook, severe thunderstorm warning, and a severe weather statement but my advisory page didn’t show anything. I checked and NOAA where the data comes from didn’t show anything either.

Curly’s new graphic SWSP script DOES show everything!!

Yep, I am in Canton. Noticed that the NWS here is NOT sending zone alerts…they are only sending county Alerts. For Example, my zone is GAZ021 and there is nothing listed for any GAzones when you go to the NWS site, but you do get all of the alerts under GAC057. I have not tried to just change that on my site, but that is what is going on at the NWS listings.

NWS Alerts You get the alert detail

NWS Alerts You get nothing.

I am going to change my code and see what happens.

Well, nothings that easy. Didn’t work. I was hoping to just swap out GAZ021 for GAC057, but it did not change the output.
Ken??

Hi CoffeeBluff,

I tried the same thing but GAZ004 and GAC313 both were not showing any alerts or advisories. The Severe Weather script from Curly DID show them. I’m guessing it was just another NWS/NOAA glitch since that’s the first time I’d ever seen it. Just so happend it was right in the middle of a huge bunch of storms…

Gotchya, I’ll give it a try!!
Thanks.
Scott

I’m still having problems with the atom/cap advisories/alerts for Whitfield County Georgia. GAZ004 which is what I’ve always used shows no alerts but GAC313 is showing them today.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Should I change to GAC313, and if so does its format work with the atom-advisory & atom-top-warning scripts?

Thanks

Derek

Hi,
That was my point from the other night. The zones aren’t showing anything as it appears that most of the alerts are coming out under the county listings.
Anyone having the same issue???
Thanks
Scott
