Anomaly in the meteogram graphics. What could it be?

Could you please post the text forecast from WxSim for the time that the weird effect is happening?
I’ve seen odd things happening with visibility in the past, although nothing as dramatic as you’re seeing, and if I remember correctly Tom said it was because visibility isn’t easy to calculate and it’s only reported in fairly big levels, e.g. every 10 %. So if you get 4% and 6% for 30 minute periods that’s rounded to 0% and 10% which gives a steep line. I may have got this wrong but I’m pretty sure it was something like this.
Sorry, I didn’t explain that very well. I was looking for the ‘latest’ file produced by WxSim that covers the anomaly period.
II ran it again at 4PM but in vret.com I unchecked %visibleSkyTrans
Maybe e-mail Tom direct? He might have got Forum notification of your query but he can be very busy.
Tom’s sister passed away a few days ago so I’m pretty sure he won’t be looking at emails or the forum for a little while.

After 15 days the question remained unanswered. It remains forgotten. In conclusion, I only ask questions if no one has answers.

I didn’t want to bother Tom considering his sister’s death. I thought maybe someone else on the forum could solve the mystery.
