Hi, need some help please, my all time records/ month to date ETC have gone wrong see pictures, in averages/extremes nosa style reports for July it shows all temperature as - & barometer pressure very high, also records to date for year ( in nosa ) are wrong, in the log files for July 72011g it looks OK. using 10.37q b78 & xp.

Hi, I have removed all data & log files for the month of July, ( must have gone bad ) but my all time records ETC. are still showing the Wong data, ie coldest night/rain in 1 hour ETC. records in WDL are also wrong see site www.wilneyweather.co.uk records are also wrong when I click on view/all time records on the main page on WD, all this has happend since updating to b78 from version b6?, I do not want to play with any settings ETC in case I mess it it all up, can someone point me in the right direction please.

Hi, still having lots of problems with all time records ETC. I have installed an early version B33 & B75 still the same, I reset selected all time records the only one that will reset is daily rain, yesterday it was 29.4c but all time records ETC are is showing -100c, can anyone help me please.

Hi, I have now installed version b80 but still cannot sort out is problem, is it possable to delete all the log & data files & start all over again, I do not really want to do this but I think I have tried all that I think of.

if your july logfile is OK, you should not delete it
try
action, reset selected all time records
then reset the ones that are incorrect
then go action, convert WD logfiles to data files, click on convert all
then click on convert
(assuming your logfiles are correct)
Hi, Windy thanks for getting back, if I open 72011g in note book it starts at 30/07 then goes 25/07 then 25/07 then 26/07 then 25/07 then 26/07- 27 /07 ETC up to 31/07 but nothing before 25/07, if I open 72011g in averages/extremes/reports it shows all the month but all of the temperatures are - readings if I try to open 72011g in view panel/data log file it will not open. Checked web site today & all time/year to date ETC have now seen ed to sorted then self’s out no more -100c/498mm of rain etc. All of July is OK on web site in average/extremes, ( www.wilneyweather.co.uk ) I have removed all of July 2011 data & log files out of WD into another folded elsewhere on the computer, but for the last two days the reset selected all time records did not work apart from record rain in 1 hour, now all my all time records start from 02/10/2011, all I got to do now is get then to show records from 12/2010 onwards, has this got to done manually or is there something that can clicked on some where in WD.

note that WD does not use the data from the logfile for the reports etc
the logfile is only used if you convert the logfile to data file
i.e your data file for july sounds like its OK
so you can convert the data file back to logfile for July
its not very clear to me from your post what other things you need help with
Hi Windy log file for July is missing days from the 1/07/11 to 25/07/11 when viewed in note book, I will try to convert data to log file later on, the other info needed, is now I have reset my all time records ETC it now shows records starting from 02/10/11 when I reset then, where as before it showed records going back to when I started with WD in 12/10 is there a way make my all time /year to date records ETC show records from 12/10 onwards like it was before I reset all time records, hope this makes sense.

as long as the logfiles exist back to that time then they would have been included in the convert all function
Hi Windy, yep got it now, all time reccords are sorted now back as they were, it must have been something to do with when I up dated to b78 ( now running b80 ) with b78 the convert all function & reset selected all records did not work, but all seems to be OK now with b80, I will play with July logs later.
