Its a couple years old, a Dual core E 6300 @ 2.8 GHZ with 2 GB Ram, fairly fast computer.

thats looks OK…WD sends the aklowledgement back to the data logger
and then at the point the data logger should send the history data
but for some reason its not?
and then it all times out
(before it times out, is the data received light flashing?)
it happens so quick, i leave WD off for 10 minutes, one tic
what shows in the vptemplog.txt file
also make sure the time/date on the davis console matches the pc

time/date : its at a remote site, i will go for a drive
i start wd,
small data extraction box appears, data is extracted
Data quality is red, then changes green
Data received is red, goes green numbers start climbing, then holds on grey ( while data is extracted)
, then quickly continues

maybe the time/date on the console was not correct?
No i checked that a few days back.
The only ‘thing’ is i inchecked then checked (been checked all the time ) the REV B in setup, but not sure that was the fix

the RevB setting does not affect the history data, only Live data
i think i found the problem, maybe, the issue came back, but when i closed msswchx.exe in task Man. i could connect to the port and WD works
I think the problem is this:
using the On Screen Keyboard and Remote Desktop.
