Advanced Graphs extra sensor/custom data screen [RESOLVED]

i want to plot my temperature/humidity station, unsure what extra temp sensors WD see them as so i click all extra temp’s/humids (except extra 2 - as this is a temp station).
Nothing is plotted - this is on the weather data screen.

With the extra Sensor/Custom data screen of the advanced graphs, i cant seem to get any variables plotted, except i have noticed that when i select a few things from the drop down boxes, then press PLOT, i get a line and what is plotted is extra temp 1 and only extra temp 1, even though this had not been selected, very strange.

Ok, on this screenshot, all i have done is open up the window, selected outside temp (before hand, every dropdown box was set to None), then pressed “last 6 hours”. The result is below.

I just tried a few other combinations of plots, button pushes but the result is the same as above, except for this one:-

What i done above is closed screen, opened it, selected outside temperature, last 31 days and i get the above graph.

Hope this helps, it has me baffled, which is why i just left well alone, no one else has mentioned it so not that much of a big deal.

With the Weather data screen, when graphing outside temp, extra temp1,3,4, with the relevant humidty, i get this result.

After playing around with the above graph, i can get things plotted, but its a matter of clearing all tick boxes, clicking on a time period, then selecting what data i want to show, though extra temps/humids/wind gust show a dashed black line.

If you click on the Plot button, top right, does that work?

that works in testing here

but the other buttons do not (they used to work)
investigating

try a new .zip update, ready now (for the advanced graphs, extra sensor graphs)
(but also check to see if any error under view, program event log)

Had a quick check, everything still the same as before (nothing wants to plot). i will play a little more a bit later

After the initial quick check, error log contained this:-

try deleting the chartextra.tee files in the data files folder

ah deleteing those files certainly made a difference. Weatehr data graphs are now working, and too some extent so is the extra sensor chart.

BUT, sorry there is a but, but it only seems to plot the data that is selected in drop down menus 1 and 2, the rest don’t plot, HOWEVER, i have found that if you put something (anything) into those drop down menus other than “None”, then close the window, then go back into the advanced charts, then press plot, then they all plot, and you can change what you want plotted at that time too.

So as long as the drop down menus have something in there, everything is good.

Just for future reference, why did deleteing the .tee files work?

at some stage you must have saved the customisation (i.e saved to the .tee file)
but that has caused problems later
(this has occured to others and that is the solution (a search of the forum would show that up )
