The AAG test utilities all communicate perfectly well with the instrument.
Weather Display communicates OK, but only acquires a small number of samples (10 to 120), then the green “Data Received” light stops flashing, the sample counter stops ticking, and well, that’s it really - no more data.
Once it’s stopped, I can go to Setup, Control Panel, Weather Station setup and reselect the correct type and wait for the “Dallas 1 Wire … Sepup” window to appear. I can then click “Save/Reset” and I get another 10 to 110 samples before it dies again.
It appears to die on the rollover from one minute (on the clock) to the next when the graphs get updated.
I have tried replacing the aging ib*.dll files installed by WD with the newer ones from AAG, but it made no difference.
hi
just tested here with my dallas 1 wire vers 3
its OK
so, i suspect, that you might have set up WD as a client
i.e setup, control panel,ftp/internet setup, client/server, turn off the main switch there , or at least the client switch, click on OK, then restart WD
if that fails, email me your settings files…go action, back up registry entry now, then email me the files, wdisplayftp.reg and wdisplay.ini, from the folder databackup
hi
you can get it do that in the setup page…without having to need to have it as a client
but also set up wd to create and upload the clientraw.txt file, in the setup, control panel, webfiles/webpage/real time ftp setup
(then see the real time ftp setup page)
