1Wire Lightning detector not working in WD

Hi there,

I have just received my LD from HobbyBoards, and it’s working perfect with OneWireViewer.

But in WD it’s not working, I have followed the steps in this topic http://discourse.weather-watch.com/t/9671 this is very clear. Thanks for this info.
So here’s my setup, WD finds the 1wire device ID

after I have setup the comport settings

But I have no countings,
Please help me!!

What does it say in the main Dallas 1-wire screen where it reads the sensor?

Bob - that’s the one with the three “0”'s for the three periods in a previous post above.

I have a friend locally who has installed one and since Dec 11 has stopped getting lightning counts on his HB Lightning detector. I’m not sure when he did his last upgrade but some of the tags have never read the lightning counts even when it was working.

I meant the Main Dallas 1 wire screen in WD… It should show searching and finding sensors…

If I do Save/reset than its hanging on two rows
****** Searching for Weather station sensors ********
****** Searching for Weather station sensors part 2********
When I’m close after this, than I find the rom ID back in Lichtning Setup screen? (no copy paste)

its not finding the sensor
do you have the correct adaptor type selected?
(serial or usb?)
try deleting the IB*.* dll files from where WD is installed and then restart WD

Yes Brian, that works :lol:

WD is now finding the detector, and I have copy and paste the ROM ID.
Restarted WD, but no countings yet!! Now I’m restarting the whole system, Lets see…

After system restart, still no countings in WD!! Brian.
In 1WireViewer I have lot of countings with the Lighter!!!

The IB*.dll files I have moved are:
Ib10e32.dll
ib90usb.dll
Ib97e32.dll
IB97U32.DLL
IBFS32.DLL

Hi Brian,

Stop searching, I have WD installed fresh with 2wd.txt in new WD2 folder.
And now its working :lol:

This is very strange #-o
I have my first install of WD simultaneous running with the second 2WD running.
If I making lightningcounts, than I have also synchronous countings in the first WD running, when I’m exit the second WD, then I have no countings more #-o
