Anyone care to describe to me exactly what these are? I have seen messages about 1 wire and Dallas something or another and I have no clue on these. How do they attach to the computer, serial port, usb? Are they wired? Example a solar sensor or the lightning detector, are the wired all the way to the computer or can they interface into a Davis Vantage pro2 ISS or remote of theirs? Anyone have actual photos of these setup? Lastly how hard is it to configure with WD?

I would like to see information on these as well. They seem to be a lower cost alternative to the additional sensors for the Davis Vantage Pro 2. Are they accurate?

They are ok but as they listen to the radio pulse sent out by a lightning pulse they will also pick up anything that will make a normal AM radio click. You get the ocassional extra pulse but not to much. Very easy to set up in Weather Display.

OK, let me try, I don’t use 1 wire but I have played with it so here is some general information.
