Hello Brian,
is Xap in test phase or is it fully operational?
Thanks.
Its OK as far as I know
worked OK for me , and no reports of issues…
Thanks Brian. I’ll study a little more about that. I have the transparent window on my xAP desktop, but there is no info in it.
it was working for me…
but you need the xap hub working…and a few other tricks…
see the thread about this xml …
Thanks Brian. Now it’s working.
In the xApP Message window I see that you transmit windk. Is it knots or km/h units.
On the same token, in the same message window, WD always transmit icon Dry. But, on my web page and on my weather station it’s forecasting Rain. 8O
Where is the discrepency?
Thanks again.
Hello Brian.
Can I configure myself the info sent from WD to xAP?
I noticed that Suuny and not Sunny was transmitted in the xAP message viewer. So, it doesn’t show the icon picture. I also notice that the wind speed windm and windk are sometimes nearly the same, sometimes very different but they are never egal to the speed displayed in WD floating window.
Is the icon transmitted actual or forecast?
Cheers. :?
there are more icons available from memory, but I have not set those up…so it only shows limited at the moment
its been a while since i had this going myself…
Just Sunny icon is mispelt in xAp message view. It’s spelled Suuny.
Not a big deal. I just have to rename the icon Sunny as Suuny.
Cheers.
i now have the floating window in WD (see under view) behaving like the Xap desktop
i.e its see through and when you move the mouse over it, it disappears, but then fades back into view again 5 or seconds later
cool
and I could even have the main wd screen like that…as an option
good idea?
I will get this version uploaded tomorrow
Fantastic Brian.
Some more info about xAP message window: after playing a bit, I think the variable windk is not knots or km/h but the gust value in mph.
The variable windm is mph.
I found this when I compared with WDL display.
Have a nice day.
8)
the way it is i have windm and windk as average and gust (mph)
should be OK
i will fix the sunny spelling for next time
at the moment I only have sunny or Overcast in use
That’s OK.
Thanks.
