Hi,
I have got most of this working at: http://www.gosportweather.co.uk/wxastronomy1.php but there are some minor problems.
Ajax moon phase and age at top right doesn’t match the phase and age that is shown on moondetail1.gif.
(moondetail1.gif updated every 15 mins). Checked lat and long in settings.php and WD all match up and are correct. WD testtags giving same phase and age as moondetail1.gif
How do I increase the size of the sunposa.php graph?
When are the sun and moon images used on sunposa.php updated? (I have had to create a .png image for testing but unsure if it will update)
Sorry for all the questions.
P.S For those getting the error message ‘unable to find graphlang.php’. I got this initially when installing this script but resolved it by placing the graphlang.php file in the root directory. Hope this helps.
Thank you I have managed to sort the width but the moon image on the graph still doesn’t seem to be updating from full moon to waxing gibbous.
As long as the ajax moon says the right phase that is good enough for now. I have noticed this phase problem elsewhere on my site, so it is not limited to this page.
I have used the over ride function in WD so that my moondetail1.gif file is updated more often than once a day in order to ensure the information matches and also to prevent WD uploading files which have become redundant as a result of your hard work.
Thanks for an excellent script.
OK, I’m getting closer, But:
error: is unable to find graphlang.php
http://cvweather.org/wxastronomyplus.php
I’ll have to revisit tomorrow.
Same problem I have. I just removed the path in the inlcude file to exlcude the sunposa file. I really like the page otherwise. Thanks
curious for those who are having the graphslang problem, it seems they dont have the wxgraphs package installed… Maybe thats the common thread?
I installed these files back in 2008, and they were working then… But like you pointed out a few posts ago with that test page, now there not… I dont understand that… But I like the page you made, even though I cant seem to figure out the sun graph… One of these days I’ll mess with it some more.
yeah i’m pretty sure if you solve that problem, then everything will work. dunno…
[s]TMan, I have just one niggling problem with the graph, and it’s found on the working graphs worldwide I’ve checked that are linked to this thread: the moon trajectory dashes are missing anywhere from about azimuth 235
Sort of got it working now www.carrowhawny.com/wxastronmy.php
I hasten to add I don’t really know what I am doing with pho scripting so sometell me i I have done wrong please!
I copied the graphlang.php to the root folder
I changed the path’s in the sunposa.php to (could this be where your problems is Mark - I had already defined the full path to to the jp files folder in the graphsconf.php file $jploc = “/home/broms/public_html/wx/jpgraph/src/”; and was using include ($jploc.“./wx/jpgraph/src/jpgraph.php”); instead of what is listed below)
include (“/home/broms/public_html/wx/wxgraphs/graphsconf.php”);
include (“graphlang.php”);
include ($jploc.“jpgraph.php”);
include ($jploc.“jpgraph_scatter.php”);
include ($jploc.“jpgraph_line.php”);
include ($jploc.“jpgraph_date.php”);
//include ($hostloc.“clientrawextra.txt”);
$clientrawextra = get_raw(“${hostloc}clientrawextra.txt”);
I took out the call to the clientrawextra.txt as it had already been called elsewhere
Just trying to figure out how to call the moon details now and then resize a couple of the images and it is done - once again thanks for all you help folks

I see #-o
There isn’t any fixing it because the path is correct. Doh!
Thanks, Jim.
I need a little help w/path problem. (I think).
wxgprahs working now, installed last night.
http://cvweather.org/wxgraphs/wxgraphs_test.html
http://cvweather.org/sunposa.php is giving me path errors.
sunposa is in my root dir.
graphsconf.php is in /wxgraphs
thanks
have a look at my post 70 above - I had exactly the same error listing as you have - i amended the paths as listed in my post and everything now works.
jdee is your graphlang.php still in your root?
yes it is
Hi
Thank you very much for the script, it’s very informative.
I got it running here:
www.silkeborg-vejret.dk/english/astronomi.php
And in Danish:

Best regards,
Henrik
Anyone has the seasons time issue?
Could anyone post testtags.txt here please?
I don’t know why my copy has that issue.
Other thing: Is it possible to insert langtransstr function to Lunation word?
Regards,
Alessandro
I also have a problem with the season times. Whilst mine is not quite as bad as that described by Alessandro my Summer solstice times and dates don’t match. Also for some reason the moon image on the graph doesn’t update. Any help with this would be appreciated. Finally is there a fix for the incorrect moon phase and age which is produced in the top right of this page. This moon phase and age problem also occurs on my homepage and the original astronomy page.
