Hello,
I have set up the Wunderground, however I must have something wrong.
When I log in to wunderground and go to data it says no data available. The internet switch is on and I am able to update Weather Display Live on my web server.
What am I doing incorrectly.

also, will it atleast work when you try a manual upload?
could the wunderground switch be off?
In my experience with these servers like Wunderground and AnythingWeather they do not update as quickly as I would like. I have seen delays of one hour or longer before data I sent is displayed on the sites. I think initial new users may take days for data to show up since it requires intervention on their end…

I no longer upload my data to wunderground, but I still have it setup. I did a test send and here is the ftp log out put from that transfer:

If you do a test send of your data and wait until it is finished, then go to view ftp log and hit the ‘view full log’ button it will only show the last session.

Looks okay to me, probably just need to wait on them to get it setup…

Are wunderground actually accepting new users??
It just seems like their banner has been stuck on 12092 members for months now!!
I stopped sending my data to Wunderground. For whatever reason they cannot seem to correctly display weather data from WD stations. I gave up on them fixing anything…it doesn’t surprise me that their banner is “stuck” as they probably don’t know how to fix that either

Weather Underground has always worked for me from day 1. My data is available nearly the minute it’s updated. Now Anything Weather is a different story. It took months for them to get their servers straight and it still runs about 20-30 minutes behind.
[My problems with WU happened late 2003 and early 2004]
I noticed that my individual inputs for hourly rainfall amounts were correct, but the rainfall total was incorrect. Their software was unable to add 0.1 and 0.3 correctly.
I asked John if they could “fix” the rain amount in the db and was told they did not have the ability to fix data in the db. Thats when I decided I didn’t need the headache of dealing with them.

It takes about 1 day for our database to update all of our web servers and place your station on your local forecast page. Also, if we don’t have current data from your station, then we will remove it automatically from the list until we get the next update. Also, make sure you have correctly entered your ID in all capitals. The password is case sensitive too

did your log look similar? i would do this, IF you have done everything that you should do, no spaces, code is correctly added, PW is correct (you might want to visit your section on wunderground go to my stations and check that the pw for them and on the section on WD set up are correct. Then if all else fails… send an email to Wunderground
Weather Underground Support [[email protected]] sometimes the problem is on their end and they don’t know it.
ONE additional thought - Firewall, make sure that your fire wall lets the data through. a second thought is you have to let your browser see popups and banners. but do email them for help.
