WS2500 Timer on

How do I turn this off, I have a 2010 and in the Data report window it keeps saying

WS2500 timer on
Retrying

WS2500 timer on
Retrying

WS2500 timer on
Retrying

I was trying to setup the remote client viewer over a lan or internet, before this all started to happen :?

you must have set the weather station type as a ws2500
try setting as stationless
and then restart

I’ve been having the same thing happen to me. It started when I went to version w. It appears as a second window when I start WD. I just check OK an all appears well. I have the station line chosen for the WS2010.

i have fixed the problem with that ws2010/ws2500 window appearing at start up…
in 10.14 , uploading now
that came about after the change in the weather station type setup (its a whole new format)

daveq, what exactlty is reported in that window?

should only appear if you have selected a WS2500 type weather station

if you could email me your settings file, from c:\windows or c:\winnt
