Any news on direct extraction from this station at startup. Getting abit fed up having to run Heavy weather to produce a file to import everytime I start my computer.

(I have worked on this, and noted it should be ok, in the history.txt file)
it seemed to work OK when I last tested it

OK. I wouldn’t have seen that as I always download the zip file with just the executable in it. What should my Console Barometer offset be set to ?

Now are you sure this working, as I have just used it and got a load of rubbish. I am now going to have to reinstall and start again.

Rather than just moaning about how unhappy you are, how about providing some information about exactly what you are seeing. That might give a clue about what’s wrong, but ‘getting rubbish’ doesn’t help Brian very much…especially when he’s busy trying to solve other problems, add new feature…and have a normal human life.

It might also help if you installed a full download of WD rather than just taking the .EXE from the ZIP file. Sometimes things beside the EXE change. Maybe you’ve missed some other change that’s needed to solve your problem?

the console barometer offset is not needed now, as I fixed that problem

the data from the extract is saved in the logfile
rawdataws2310.txt
emai me that file, so I can have a look at it

but for people who do not run there pc all time time, i.e dont run WD overnight, then to get good data and reliable data and data that spans the whole night, then dont expect a ws2310 to do that with WD ( a davis VP works OK for this)

Sorry crappy day at work and then I tried it and it screwed up. #-o I am happy just using the heavy weather text file to update. A bit of an over reaction ony my part.
