WS2300 Max Wind speed - Console vs WD

Hi,

After a very blustery Saturday I reviewed WD and my WS-2300 console for the maximum gust speed recorded and was alarmed to see that there is a big discrepancy between the figures presented. The console shows the max wind (gust) as 29.9 mph but WD has it recorded at only 20.9 mph. This seems to be a massive difference. Any ideas why it is happening and ideally how to fix it (if possible)

Are you running your PC 24 hours? If not, The WS 2300 is not recording the max. wind. When you use the Ws 2300 in wired configuration and running the PC 24 hours, then you can be lucky that possibly in the 8 second readout, you catch the max. speed.
