I had WS 2300 La Crosse, which was working well with WD and Live Weather…
So today, I try to connect a new weather station WS 2500… not the PC one, only the one which updates every 15 mn
So I started to configure WD, but it stills receiving nothing from the station…
When I go to report I have this messages “getting status
Ws2500 timer on
Ackl, stopping timer
getting status2”
and so on every 3 seconds
But no data from the station
Can you help me ??

try lowering the station wake up command freq…in the ws2010/ws2500 data setup
to say 30 from the defult of 60
also, note, the serial cable to the ws2500 is not a normal cable…it needs to be specificly for that station

So, i try, and it seems to work
It’s a new weather station, and I discover every minute…
When I connect it, WD takes the data which are in the station, 15mn interval, and it takes a while, but it seems to be normal…
I change the port “COM” config and set 115200 bauds for the speed
Just one disappointed thing, only 1 update per 15 mn, it’s poor…
I think Live Display is unnecessary by the way…
I’ll try to look for the Ws 2500 PC interface which can take datas each 5mn instead of 15 mn
I shall try WD a few hours to see if it goes on working well with this weather station… and I’ll tell you what’s wrong…

When I click on “get status” I have this getting status2
Status report arrived
Sensor #1 is OK.
Sensor #2 does not exist.
Sensor #3 does not exist.
Sensor #4 does not exist.
Sensor #5 does not exist.
Sensor #6 does not exist.
Sensor #7 does not exist.
Sensor #8 does not exist.
Sensor #9 is OK.
Rain sensor: is OK.
Wind sensor: is OK.
Brightness sensor: is OK.
Pyranometer sensor: is OK.
Indoor sensor: has an error. :31 %
The indoor temperature shows 20.0C on WD, and 23.3 on station…
Something is wrong, but what ??
