I don’t know if you remember but I believe all (or at least I) who run Lacrosse Wireless have problems with the data rollover not working correctly. When I get rain it never shows the previous days rain total when the date rolls over. The daily high comparison gif is always wrong. I believe the Noaa reports are working Ok and the Graph is working perfectly just a lot of misinformation on my web page.
My “Daily Rain” values are not updating correctly. I was having the rainfall totals update at 0900 but when I upgraded to 10.12r I tried changing the setting so it updates at midnight. Today I noticed that it seems to be updating at both midnight and 0900 so today’s and yesterday’s “Daily Rain” values are off. The graph shows the true values but the chart doesn’t. Am I missing a setting somewhere? TIA
hi
ok, yes, i need to look into this and fix
i will do that today…
(but the wife is relief teaching the last few days, and has left me a list of house duties today!!!)
Did you ever have any success with your test. Also, I am having trouble fixing log entries when it relates to rain. I go and change the rain amount on the log but it still shows all the wrong amounts on the main screen and my website.
hi
i am waiting to build lots of data…
latest version has the rain amount set at 0.36mm per tip
and the % should work now
changing the log files does not change that other data
to change the month to date rain, daily rain, year rain, use
setup, control panel, barometer offsets and rainfall
(set the amount, click on set, then yes to save settings (and the daily rain now works))
Maybe I figured out the problem with the consecutive days with no rain. I think it is part of the the whole rain problem. Since WD isn’t showing any rain for yesterday it doesn’t think it rained. Why do I think that?, because I manually put in yesterday’s rain in it change to 0 days without rain. Am I correct?
yes I think it’s a ws2000/wmr900h/lacrosse problem as well
same observation here !
0 mm rain yesterday (it rained 1.7 mm)
but zero days in the consecutive days without rain
It looks like the rain thing is maybe fixed. I haven’t got much rain lately to tell. But it looks like the date rollover on the Noaa reports is having trouble again.
