Wrong wind indication when scale moves to 0-100

When the Gust display has moved the dial up to 0-100 kph from the
usual 0-50 kph the max gust values shows correctly on the scale but
the gust value is showing twice the actual value (as if it was still
working on a 0-50 scale)

See the attached file.

It fine when the scale is just 0-50kph but not when the scale
increases to 0-100 kph???

Oh - I see can’t see a button for adding an attachment - will
will upload the file and post a link

Look at the gust speed and then look at the indicator.

I believe this has been fixed in v1.08 now - what version of WDL are you running?

see topic http://www.weather-watch.com/smf/index.php?topic=4604.0 as this was noticed by Brian also

Yes that was a bug in 1.07 fixed in 1.08.

Julian

Yes I’m still running 1.07.
Is there a mailing list for finding out when new versions of WDL are posted?

Not at the moment. I usually just start a new thread in this section of the forum. Unfortunately the release of 1.08 got lost in another thread.

v2 is on the way soon and I’ll make sure everyone knows about that!

Julian

Hi
vers 1.08 fixes this
its availble from the download page

http://www.weather-display.com/download.php

Brian - I missed your last follow up post in the other forum when I pointed out the double scale wind reading on your homepage display -(you mentioned I had posted that comment in the wrong place!)

So when I had the same problem myself I check the WDL forum for an answer but couldn’t find one, so posted the question here which Julian kindly answered.

Sorry but your last comment was somewhat negative and off putting!!

Oh I see you have removed that post?

yes, i was an arsehole, sorry about that
