I have downloaded the latest version of WD which Brian has kindly created, done all the necessary and then tried to upload data with the Test button. Nothing happens, prbably because I need a AWS Pin. Does anyone know where I can get one of these? I have asked the Met office, but it is after 4.00pm on a friday here and they will not be open until next week.
I would like to get going so if anyone can help, that would be great.
Thanks
Mike
Yes thanks. I have signed up with them and created a site with them, but cannot find anywhere to get a Pin number.
Best wishes
Mike
the 6 digit PIN number is one that you make up when you sign up, i.e the password that you create, in the sign up process that you enter into the sign in form
they provide you with the ID number
Thank you for that brian. When i signed up the password I entered was some eight letters long. I will have to go back and find the details and try again.
Best wishes

Tried signing up again, and checked my own sign up. I could not find anywhere to include a six figure Pin number. i received the station number from them, six figures, but that doesn’t work either.

PS sorry about the missing capital B Brian, my shift key is a little dodgy
Think I have found the slot now. Hopefully it will work. Sorry to have bothered y/ou guys.
Best wishes

Mike,
Go into your station setup on WOW, under “site details” you’ll see:
Site Name
Site Timezone
AWS 6-digit pin - under this there is a text box and you need to add a 6 digit pin number in here.
In Weather Display WOW setup - add your station ID that the Met Office assigned to the “WOW ID” text box and your AWS 6-digit pin to the "Key Code (6 number) text box.
