I’ve seen that sort of thing as well. Occasionally a garbled character, etc. No idea if it si WD or the METAR but my money is on the latter.

one of the problems is the metar ascii file contains carriage return codes, which splits the data onto a new line
the latest vers resets the labels each time now, but i will put in a check for the label length, and try to stop or improve this

I have seen several lines with possibly spaces, tabs, line feeds, carriage returns, etc. in those lines. Please forget trying to change it. Overall the METAR is looking good.
