I’m having incorrect data being displayed for the daily high gust and in the all time/yearly and monthly records, I have to do a reset almost every morning. The data at the weather station does not correspond to what is being displayed on WD, the data at the weather station is correct.
In some cases the wind gust looks to have its decimal point in the wrong place, if the true data shows 8.5 the data posted to the web page and displayed on WD shows 85.0, unusual…I’m running the latest version of WD, also the program at some times freezes up, I have downloaded a new copy and reinstalled, it still does it at random.
I am having a problem with “All Time Wind Gust”. It only shows the current year gust and not the all time gust. Testtags.php. $recordwindgust shows the same as this years record gust which is 40mph and the all time wind gust should be 58mph. I see discussion about “Complete Record Mode”, but cannot seem to find a check box for it or should I be looking at something different. WD - ver1037s134. using the AltAjaxDashboard with Saratoga templates.
Still having the wind gust problem and the “program not responding” problems, also a new problem popped up this morning, the main display for WD on the PC was like this …
All blue with the header and a small square at the top left.
So I downloaded a fresh install file of WD, and it cleared up, all back to normal, will have to wait to see if the wind gust problems have gone away.
Application freezing has gone away, but the wind gust problems are still here, it looks like the gusts posted tot he web site are 3 times what they should be, will look in to the weather stations memory and see what the true wind gust was for that date/time.
OK, this morning the wind gust was reported as 65.7 MPH at 02:36 3/30/22, checking the weather instrument data history, at that time and date the high wind gust was 6.57 MPH…So at random times WD is misplacing the decimal point one place to the right…Weird problem, the data line from the weather instrument to the computer is a shielded RS 232 cable…
OK, I’m getting a bit frustrated having to correct the wind gusts almost every day, (still being reported over 75 to 90 MPH) it looks to happen only at night, around 2 to 4 AM, now looking back at the data on the Ultimeter it shows ether zero wind at those times or very little, (under 5 MPH) is there a way to shut off only the wind gusts being reported in the “Daily high wind gusts”???
what mode do you have your ultimeter set to ? (e.g complete record mode?)
you could try unsetting to use threads in setup, misc setup (latest version of WD)
I have tried all modes on the ultimeter, and have it set to ““complete record mode”” I have unset ““use threads”” a long time ago, I see a newer version (2 steps up) from what I am using, I will try it out.
It’s funny as this only happens at night (1 AM to 6 AM), checking on the ultimeter it shows as one tenth of the posted wind speed. (if any wind at all)
