Wind Direction clutters web graph of data

Hi,

When viewing the Graph of Weather Data on the WD generated web page the Wind Direction is in light & bright blue and overwrites nearly all of the other lines on the graph. As the weather station is in a valley with swirling winds i get directions readings all over the place (the 10 minute average and wind plots still tell the story of wind direction, though).

hi
yes, when you go to view, real time graph, click on setup
and then you can set the colour of the wind direction (i.e set to a dark gray say), and even tick to not display the wind direction
try that

I hate to use the ‘option’ word  and I know this is a real-time graph, but would it be possible to display a time averaged wind direction (perhaps just over the previous few minutes) on this graph instead of the real time direction?

windy,

thanks for pointing that out…can’t believe i didn’t see that!

on another note…a time averaged direction plot would be useful for those of us in flukey wind locations…but no crushing need for it

thanks again!

Another question I have with these Real Time graphs is to have the option to alter the range to SWNES as our winds are predominantly SW through NW to NE - and this is through most countries - (although it may be dependant on local mountainous terrain), so that NNW to NNE does not cross from one side to the other in huge bright lines obliterating everything else. This option is available for the main Console screen and helps sort those issues out there (although it is a seperate graph  )

Thanks Brian.

i will see what i can do
(i.e having option to shift the data by 180)

i have added this option to the real time graph
in this .zip update:

(in theory should work Ok)
(note, not retrospective)

Thanks Brian - i will try it tomorrow, today is nearly gone
